Moving to India!
Through the train window I could see people with dots on their head. I was in India, sitting in a train waiting for it to stop, finally it did! I was moving to my aunties. Oh by the way, my name is Stacey. I'm 11 years old and my mum and dad died in a deathly car crash so I have to live with my aunt. I can't wait. Her name is aunt Millie and she is real nice. She is a fashion designer. I am going to love living in India.

Hi Room 3
I am in Toulouse now. Staying in my hotel for a couple of months. It has been great in Toulouse, I wish I could bring you with me in my suitcase. The worst thing yet was the plane food on the Japanese airline and the best thing is all the pastries here. Guess what jack, Mum saw the cutest bulldogs yesterday for sale at the pet shop in the garden centre.
My Birthday is on Wednesday and I want BMX bike.

Jasper in Wellington
Hi room 3 Jasper here.
I am still in Wellington. Today I went to the Carter observatory and I flew a spaceship with a joy stick. I learned that the only way to get into a black hole is to go directly into it and there was a rope which you pulled and that's how Maui slowed down the sun.
Tomorrow I am going to auckland, we are going to stay there for one night and I want to go to rainbows end.

Character Description - The Queen in The Ice Voyage
One morning a queen woke up. She was still tired, and cross that she had to get up. She moaned as she took her feet out of the blankets and she stood up. Her hair was puffed out and looked like a fluffy ball. Her eyeliner was smeared down her red cheeks like blobs of black paint!

Character Description - Queen from The Ice Voyage
The queen rules 7 lands and she has red sparkly hair that goes over her shoulders, her dress makes her look mean and when she's angry her eyes curve in a horrible way. When she was 9 years old she was crowned and given emeralds and diamonds. She lives in a castle all day, calling people in and out and having three big meals a day. She has never had a melidrop but really wants one, she is now 16 years old and is really spoilt.

FOX AND DOG
There once was a fox that loved being a thief. His parents were thieves too. The foxes were orange and white with black on the tips of their tails. There is only one animal they liked to pick on, to steal from, and that is the most popular and richest dog on earth.
One day Fox decided to steal again but hunters caught him and put him in a zoo to live a horrible life.

Once a dog had a juicy piece of delicious meat but there was a problem. A sneaky, silky fox could smell the dog’s meat so he sprung over the fence and gave the dog an enormous fright. Then he gave a quick launch and stole the juicy piece of meat and he dashed off into the distance. The dog did not mind so he went off and rummaged through the garbage bin and found a half eaten burger – a meat patty and a bone. Unfortunately the meat patty had maggots all though it, but he was happy with the bone and the half eaten burger. Meanwhile, the fox was running so fast with the stolen piece of meat he didn’t watch where he was going and ran on the road and got hit.

One day a fox was going for a stroll and suddenly he saw a big bone with the big dog munching on it. He desperately wanted that bone so he snatched the bone and ran off into the trees. He wasn’t looking where he was going and he bounced into a Hunter’s pit. The dog, belonging to the Hunter, got his bone back. The Hunter grabbed the fox and sliced his skin off and used it for a posh coat!

One day a farmer had finished ploughing his field and set up his lunch. When he turned his back on his fresh homemade loaf of warm bread a sly, sneaky, starving fox gulped it down in silence.
Later the fox came upon a dog who asked, “Why do you have crumbs on your whiskers”? “I just brought a fresh loaf of bread”, lied the fox. “But the bakery is closed today”, corrected Dog, “You’re a thief, aren’t you”? “Yes I am a thief”, revelled the fox. The dog thought for a while then he finally said, “We will have a race, and if I win you will have to return everything in person and apologised”. “Deal”, agreed Fox as he scampered off.
The following night the race was held and they both lined up at the starting line. “GO”! And they darted for the hills.
First they had to jump over ten beams. “It’ll be easy”, thought Fox, but because he hadn’t trained he knocked all of the beams over, every single one. Dog ran straight over them and past Fox. Next they had to sail across the river. Fox pushed the boat and fell into the water. Dog ran over him and hopped into the boat. Then they had to run all the way to the finish line.
Fox was fast, but Dog was faster and he belted for the ribbon. Dog Smiled.

The farmer’s wife quietly whistled for the farm dog, Baxter. So Baxter came bounding around the corner and chased the sly fox off the edge of the old stony rickety cliff.
That was the end of that sly, sneaky, shifty fox!
